Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ, and wrestling. She made her professional debut at 18 at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd went on to improve upon her triumph during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought for three straight wins. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. Ladd returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was already beaten by Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her by unanimous decision to put the blemish on Aspen's amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss to win against Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and was able to dominate her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first match as a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills took down McGill as she managed to finish her in the third round by TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her in the 2nd round by TKO. Her final fight with this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She defeated Lina as she pound her down for a second-round TKO victory. She continued to dominate and was able to win a thrilling fight at the end of her fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and earned a reward to commemorate her performance of the evening. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first big fight. Both fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision with both fighters claiming one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her win streak. In the third round of UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
